Buy Your Live Auction Tickets Today!

This year's event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Brockey Center on the South Seattle College campus. When you attend the live event, you'll be able to experience the excitement of our live auction, bid on charming Class Art created and donated by each classroom, and dance the night away with fellow Lafayette supporters.

In the week leading up to our live event, supporters will have the opportunity to bid on a collection of fun items in our online silent auction. Silent Auction Bidding is open April 18th at 5pm until April 25th at 3pm.

Donate an auction item here!

We are currently seeking unique and interesting items to auction off both in our online silent auction and our live event. In previous years we've received contributions like gift cards, private dining experiences, vacation homes, theater tickets, museum memberships, sports memorabilia, and more. All donations are tax deductible and will help our PTA provide funds for vital components of the school and help ensure the school is equitable for all students.

Explore our sponsorship levels and help support our event.

Are you a business owner or individual who would like to sponsor our event? Sponsorships provide crucial financial support that directly contributes to the success of our auction & gala. Sponsorships help cover the expenses associated with hosting the auction, ensuring that we maximize fundraising potential. Sponsorships also allow your business or family to share their support for Lafayette Elementary and the West Seattle Community.

Volunteer to make our event a success!

We are also seeking volunteers to help make Lafayette's largest fundraiser of the year a roaring success. Whether you have a few hours or a few days to help you, there are volunteer roles for everyone! We are specifically looking for folks to join our Donation Procurement, Decor, and Live Event teams. Fill out our Volunteer Interest Form and we will reach out about our volunteer opportunities.

AUCTION: Dessert Dash Needs Sweets!

The Lafayette Auction is fast approaching and no Leopard auction would be complete without the dessert dash!

If you’ve never been, here’s how it works:

We STOCK the auction space with incredible on-theme desserts: cakes, donuts, cookies, macarons for attendees to drool over while they mingle.

AFTER DINNER, auction attendees bid for desserts at their tables.

Tables are called to DASH to the dessert table and grab their favorite dessert in order of bid amounts (tables with the highest bids get to grab their treat first.)

It’s always a highlight of the evening and wouldn’t be possible without dessert donations from our community. Here’s how you can help:

  1. Make a cake or dessert that serves 8-10 people. We’ll pick it up from you, feature your name and give you all the cred for our auction audience.

  2. Purchase a cake or dessert that serves 8-10 from your favorite bakery or baker. We’ll pick it up for you, feature the name of the bakery or baker and give them all the cred for our auction audience.

However you choose to contribute, your help makes all the difference!

If you’re able to create or purchase a dessert, please reach out to dessert dash chair, Lia at: news@lafayettepta.com.

Yearbook Photo Call — Share Your Memories

We’re gathering photos from classroom events, field trips, assemblies, and PTA activities to help make the yearbook as complete as possible.

Last call for photo submissions: April 6

Lauren Berkowitz, our yearbook coordinator, will begin assembling the yearbook over spring break, so we hope to collect most photos before then (except Camp Colman).

Special request for 5th grade families:
Our current 5th graders spent kindergarten learning remotely during COVID. If you have photos of your student participating in remote kindergarten learning, please consider sharing them for a small tribute section.

Submit photos:

  • Email: yearbook@lafayettepta.com

  • Text Lauren: 206-734-7054

  • Please include a quick note identifying the class, grade, or event (for example: “Ms. Duke’s class” or “Kindergarten art project day”).
