Summer Garden Watering

Hello wonderful Lafayette families!

Each summer we look to our community to help water and tend our school garden spaces. You can bring the kids to explore the garden with your little ones and harvest what is there. Feel free to bring things to plant!

When you sign up, you are committing to one week of daily watering (if it is hot), every other day if it is cool. It takes 30-60 minutes each day. We have two garden spaces at the school: one by the garden portable on the northwest side of the building, and one near Lander and the preschool, on the southwest side of the building. You can sign up for one garden space or both.

You will pick up the keys near the school on Sunday and return them on Saturday so the next family can pick them up. More details for key pickup will be provided after signup.

Please email Ms. Adams with any questions, comments or issues: caadams1@seattleschools.org
