Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming back to Lafayette Library, December 12th, and December 15th - 17th.

25% of every online purchase during the Fair directly benefits our school!

Hours:

  • Friday, December 12th: 5:30pm-7:30pm (including during the Craft Fair!)

  • Monday-Wednesday, Dec 15th-17th: During Recess and One Hour after Dismissal for Family Shopping

Thank you in advance for supporting our Library Fundraiser. Proceeds are used to purchase books for our library and every classroom.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Visit Lafayette’s Scholastic Book Fair Webpage to set up your student’s eWallet and preview what will be available before the fair!

    • eWallet Funds allow students to shop the fair during school on their own, and leftover funds can be used to shop online with Scholastic or fund an eWallet for a future Book Fair.

    • We accept the following as payment at our fair: cash, credit cards, or checks payable to Lafayette PTA.

  • Explore the Digital Flyer to preview books from the fair. Watch book trailers with your child in our interactive book flyer for a sneak peek of our upcoming Fair.

We are also seeking donations that will benefit Lafayette students who need help purchasing a book. Donations for the Book Fairy e-Wallet will open on Nov 18th.

Also, consider rounding up your purchases or donating directly to Share the Fair to support students who need help buying new books.

MAT Movie Day @ the Admiral!

Our All School Movie Field Trip to Admiral is coming up on Nov. 19th!

To celebrate our students' hard work and success of surpassing our goal for our Move-A-Thon, we will be taking an ALL SCHOOL field trip over to the Admiral Theater for a movie party. The students will be voting on a selection of movies: G Rated for grades K-3, PG for grades 4-5.

We need volunteers to help get our kids down to the theater, snacks handed out and safely back to school after the show. We need A LOT of parent help to make this work. But this can't happen without your help! We need at least two volunteers per grade plus volunteers to pass out snacks and help students find seats.
