Established in 1918, Lafayette Elementary School in West Seattle provides a high-quality education to PreK - 5th Grade students. Our engaged Parent-Teacher Association is dedicated to enhancing academic success, supporting student enrichment experiences, and fostering a strong, connected community through active parent involvement.

We met and exceeded our goal - our Lafayette Leopards raised $89,720 and have fully funded our school's tutoring program for the year.

SPS Highly Capable Engagement Sessions

For the first time in YEARS, the district is actually listening and willing to engage in community feedback about advanced/highly capable learning for students in our district, so now is a REALLY important time for our Lafayette community to get involved, especially since half of our school's population qualifies for these services.
