They will rehearse during STEAM hour for two trimesters.  Mr. Payne and Ms. Duke are team teaching. Mr. Payne is teaching music and Ms. Duke will be staging each scene. Ms. Bajaj is leading STEAM classes in set design to create scenery for our stage.  Please direct any questions to Jenny King.

Performances are June 6, 7 at 6:30pm, June 8 at 12:00pm and 6:30pm at West Seattle High School Theater.

Our dress rehearsals will be June 4 and 5 from 3:45 – 5:45.  (Please note rehearsal timing change due to High School Hours)

After school rehearsals for our leads and the small groups in May: Practices will be @ Lafayette from 2:30-3:30pm.

After School Rehearsal schedule

A school play with a large cast is a huge undertaking!  We can use many parent volunteers to make the show a success.

Volunteer Needs:

  • Volunteer Sign-up:
  • Donate to concessions stand goodies, contact Elizabeth Chapman.
  • Load In/Load Out:  We’ll need to transport scenery and costumes to and from West Seattle High School.  We’ll load in on June 4 at 2:00 and Load out on June 8 at 7:30.

Donate to our school play program:

$20 suggested Donations per family at the door in lieu of ticket sales.  Concessions Available for purchase.  All proceeds go toward next year’s school play.  Thank you for supporting our Lafayette Thespians!   Thank you Volunteer Teachers & Parents for making this experience possible!

Thanks for your support!  This should be a fun learning experience for our kids.  – Lisa Duke & Lafayette Musical Team
