Thank You to those who have donated and volunteered with our impromtu donation drive.  Now that services are in place, it will be discontinued.  If there is a specific need you need help with that we can offer assistance with, please feel free to reach out to the PTA or our Principal Cindy Chaput.

Student Meal Distribution

Student meal sites operate from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. Meal sites are OPEN during the two week “Stay Home, Stay Health” period and social distancing is enforced for the protection of you, your child, and family. There are 26 locations across the city, and meals can be picked up by anyone in your family. You can learn more, including where the student meal sites are located, on the COVID-19 student meal page. Please share this information with SPS families who might benefit from this support.

Weekend Food Support

Weekend food supports will be provided at the 26 Student Meal Distribution Sites every Friday. Any family in need can pick up food and other essentials on Friday, March 27. Learn more on the student meal page.

Internet Access

Low cost internet options are available for Seattle residents, so you can stay connected and complete work at home.

Health Care

Due to the number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in our state, the Washington Healthplanfinder ( is offering a limited 30-day special enrollment period (SEP) for qualified people who currently do not have insurance. This SEP runs through April 8, 2020.

Additional Basic Need Supports

City of Seattle Resource Page – Many resources including food voucher program.

United Way of King County – Resources including food, utility, rental assistance, internet, & childcare.

Housing Justice Project – Legal Assistance related to eviction: 253-234-4204

Seattle Public Schools also continues to do our part in ensuring basic, essential community needs are met.

Right Now Needs Fund

The Right Now Needs Fund, supported by the Alliance for Education and Amazon, is available during the school closure. The fund assists with basic needs, including food, shelter, clothing, school supplies, and medical costs.
