09/25/19, Audubon FUN Training (GRADE 3 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY)

Seattle Audubon’s Finding Urban Nature (FUN) program is an environmental education and science enrichment program for 3rd graders. We are excited to offer this program at your child’s school during the 2018-2019 school year. The FUN program depends on parent and community volunteers like you who have the desire, time, and commitment to work with your own child and their classmates.

We are excited to offer this program at your child’s school during the 2018-2019 school year. The FUN program depends on parent and community volunteers like you who have the desire, time, and commitment to work with your own child and their classmates.

The fall dates that FUN happens in your child’s classroom are:

October 18, 25, November 1, and 8

The time commitment is from:

9:40 -11:00am

(Prep-8:10-8:30am, Session with kids 8:30-9:30am)

 Fall in-person FUN training sessions will occur on (choose one):

  • Wednesday, September 25th, from 12:00-1:00pm at Genessee Hill Elementary (5013 SW Dakota St)
  • Friday September 27th, from 10:00-11:00am at Seattle Audubon (8050 35th Ave NE)
  • Saturday September 28th,from 9:00am-12:00pm at Seattle Audubon (8050 35th Ave NE)
  • via e-training, on your computer, at your convenience – we will email the e-trainings to you

The training walks you through all four of the lessons for the fall season and ensures you have all the information and materials you need for a successful program.  **New volunteers must attend or watch a training **
