Yearbook Cover (and Back Cover) Contest

We are having a cover contest at Lafayette for the 2012-2013 yearbook. Art will be featured on the front and back covers of the yearbook next year. Entries are due to the Office (please place in the Yearbook slot) by January 18, 2013. The theme for this year’s artwork is LAFAYETTE IS ON FIRE. Use your imagination. Images of “fire” are not necessary, nor are they encouraged. The art should express what YOU love about Lafayette. Examples include: friends, teachers, math, enrichment programs (chess, cartooning, Popcorns, Spanish, Mandarin, etc.), reading, writing, movement, art, recess, P.E., Lafayette’s role in the neighborhood, charities, Walk-a-thon, music, science, etc. Please use 8 ½ x 11 white paper for your art. One entry per child. There will be TWO winners, a child from grades K-2 and a child from grades 3-5. Voting on the top finalists will be done school-wide in January. Prizes to be awarded to the 1st place winners. Get excited and start creating your masterpiece! If you have questions, please submit the form below:
